Carbide Tipped Cold Saw Blades
High-Production Automatic Saws:
We sell Kinkelder, M. K. Morse and Cut-Tech Carbide tipped & Cermet tipped blades to fit popular machines like Amada, Hyd-Mech, Kasto, Nishijimax, Tsuni, Wagner, and others. These thin kerf steel cutting blades are specifically designed for high production, fully automatic machines. Please contact us for application and pricing.
Dry Cut Saws: (Dewalt, Makita, Jepson, Milwaukee, Porter-Cable, etc.)
We stock Tenryu carbide tipped blades for Dry Cut saws. These saws look similar to an abrasive cut-off saw but are built heavier and generally turn around 1300-1500 RPM, much slower than an abrasive machine or a typical woodworking chop/miter saw which turn at 3,000-5,000 RPM. These blades are common in 10", 12" and 14" diameters. We also have dry cut blades that fit many popular portable circular saws like Skil or Evolution. We also sharpen and repair these blades.
Standard Carbide Tipped Blades for Non-Ferrous: (For Aluminum, Brass and Copper Cutting on
High Speed (3,000-5,000 RPM) Cold Saws, Double Mitre Saws, and Chop/Miter Saws)
Most lighter duty non-ferrous cutting can be done better and faster with a HIGH RPM cold saw, woodworking chop saw, miter saw, slide/compound miter saw, or dual miter saws. These blades are commonly used by carpenters, contractors, store front installers, and picture frame shops to cut extrusions and small solids.
We stock, sell, and sharpen a full range of blades for this purpose, as well as larger blades for plate saws and automatic cutoff saws. Please call us so we can recommend the best blade for your application.
NEVER cut non-ferrous materials on portable machines like a Chop/Miter saw or Skilsaw without a wax lubricating stick or a Minimum Quantity Lubricating (MQL) micronizer lubrication device. Doing so causes the material to melt and gall (weld) onto the saw blade. This can easily ruin the blade as well as create a very dangerous kickback condition. We offer wax lubricating sticks (Stick-Kut) and MQL coolant (Accu-Lube) on our Coolants page. We also sell Lenox micronizer lubricators. Please call for information and pricing.
